Fitness classes
 

Lift, Push, Press  -- A full body workout using a combination of weights (barbells, dumbells etc.) with a mix of cardio. higher reps, ligter loads to build strength, burn fat & help you reach your fitness goals faster. 

Azonto Fit & Dance -- Get your heart pumping to the rhythm of African beats mixed with some of your favourites. All are welcome to joing this new, upbeat class! 

Fit over 50 – Specifically for those over 50. This is a safe and gentle fitness class. Improve your cardio, range of motion and your muscles at your own pace. Listen to high energy classics and have fun! All fitness levels welcomed.

Power Pedal – A workout that is sure to have you sweating, smiling and feeling alive! Energize yourself with fast-tempo music and endorphin-building exercise! Learn the basics from bike setup, indoor cycling essentials and proper techniques while on the stationary bike. All fitness levels welcomed.

RAW – This “Real Athletic Workout” is designed for the athlete in all of us. The “obstacle style” group fitness program takes place on our running track and uses the HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) formula to guarantee a thrilling functional workout. All fitness levels welcomedtep & Tone – This cardio workout ensures a good calorie burn while stepping to the beat. It has the added benefit ofa strength component to round the class out.  All fitness levels welcomed.

Beginner Yoga – A great class to try yoga for the first time or to maintain the flexibility you have already achieved.

TRX Cardio – Improve your heart rate and tone up fast in a super-charged workout without the use of machines or weights. Body weight exercises paired with jump rope exercises are a great combo for ultimate toning and cardio! All fitness levels welcomed.

TAB – Thighs, Abs, Butt – This class targets all the problem areas. It's only 30 mins but you will feel it in all the right places. All fitness levels welcomed.

Chair Yoga – A gentle class intended to improve flexibility and balance. The use of a chair provides added support.

Power Zen – The perfect mix of Yoga, Tai-Chi, and Pilates will build strength and flexibility while leaving you feeling centered and calm. All fitness levels welcomed

Ladies Only Bootcamp – Come give it all you've got. Strength, agility and endurance. We will be outside as much as possible over the summer months. All fitness levels welcomed.

Circuit Class- Intervals, obstacles, TRX, kettlebells. This class will throw a little bit of everything at you. All fitness levels welcomed.


Fitness Friends - In partnership with Crosswinds Occupational Activity Center, the new “PCC Fitness Friends” program is dedicated to providing a quality physical activity service to adults with differing physical or intellectual abilities. We strive to enhance the quality of life for those who participate by providing a friendly, uplifting, socially stimulating, and safe atmosphere.
- The PCC Fitness Friends program offers activities such as swimming, aqua basketball, dance, group fitness, indoor cycling, walking the track, and volunteer experiences all while building new friendships.
-This program is offered Monday & Wednesday from 1:00pm-2:00pm. The cost of the program for non-members is $4 per visit (10 Visit Punch Pass cards may be purchased for $35.00) which includes regularly scheduled Fitness Friends activities led by a qualified instructor and individual access to the gym or pool if desired.
